Watching a Family Grow 🤍
One of the sweetest parts of being a photographer is having clients return year after year and getting to watch their families grow. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family through previous portrait sessions, and it was such a special treat to welcome them back to my camera for this beautiful newborn chapter.
As a wedding photographer, I primarily spend my time documenting wedding days, so newborn sessions are a little outside my usual work — which makes getting to photograph a growing family like this one feel even more special.
There’s something so meaningful about seeing familiar faces again, meeting the newest little member of the family, and getting to preserve these fleeting moments for them. Children change so quickly, and I absolutely love that I get to witness a little piece of that journey through my lens.
I’m so grateful when clients continue to come back and trust me to document their lives beyond the moments they originally hired me for. Watching these families grow over the years is truly one of the greatest gifts of this job. 🤍

Meg & Brian's wedding was an absolutely magical day! We began with everyone dressing to the nines at the hotel. There was so much joy surrounding this wonderful couple who had been given a rare second chance at love. Stories like these are dear to my heart and I love when life is full of surprises. I connected with the couple after shooting the wedding of one of their friends. I arrived at the venue with my dear friend Lauren Emerson to help me capture this beautiful event! There was no shortage of fun to be had with nearly 50 children in attendance. Dancing, laughing and lots love filled every room! What a blessing it was to be a part of such a special union.

It was so nice to hear from my dear clients again! I love seeing how everyone's families grow year after year. This time I got a chance to meet the whole family and shoot 4 generations all together! We had a ton fun and a lot of laughs while the kiddos did their thing! We also made some beautiful memories! I look forward to watching these little ones grow for many years to come!
