Happy 4th of July weekend from JMPhotography! I hope everyone had a fantastic and safe 4th! I enjoyed a lovely holiday weekend with my family! We attended an amazing fireworks show last night, then a lovely family reunion today! The setting today was Walkersville Community Park, an absolutely beautiful location. I have shot here before, but never had a chance to make it out with my family. Today was a two in one! We got to spend the day with family, and I got a chance to spend a little time with these two capturing some adorable memories :-)
Today was a special day!I had the wonderful opportunity today to meet up with Holly and Jason and their new baby boy Jenson. I have loved photographing them with their twins, and while Jenson was on the way, but today was a real treat! He is just 6 days new and already has a little personality going on. I had such a wonderful time working with him and capturing these beautiful early moments!
What a perfect day this turned out to be. We arrived at this beautiful lakeside venue after getting a little lost in the mountains. The only rain we saw were a few sprinkles on the drive, and then it turned out to be a perfect day for the outdoor ceremony. Erica and Andy are very dear clients to me. They found me when they were looking for a maternity photographer, then called me again for baby photos, and now for their wedding! I am so honored to have captured so many special moments for this couple, and I cannot wait to capture more as little Noah grows and they enjoy their life together as a happy little family!

The first wedding I booked for this year was for a lovely young couple named Stephanie and Greg. They are planning a beautiful outdoor wedding in September and I was lucky enough to be chosen as the photog for their big day! As part of their wedding package we got together for a quick engagement session today, and what a wonderful time it was! We had a great time getting to know each other a little more while we hiked to Cunningham Falls, and captured some great moments along the way!
So, I get this text message from a good friend of mine. She is planning a surprise for her boyfriend's birthday and she wanted to know what I would charge for a Boudoir Session. Now, up to this point, I have done all kinds of portraits, but not these. So I excitedly booked her session and began researching. When I got to her house, she had a kitchen full of light with white walls, so I immediately set up my traveling studio and got to work. We didn't need a lot of space and once we got started, we had a blast. I thought for sure it might be a little nerve-racking doing this type of session for the first time, but I really enjoyed the different style of shooting and am eager to do more of these high fashion shoots! Boudoir Sessions are now shown on my portrait pricing and are a great way to feel beautiful! They also make a great gift for your significant other!!!
