I cannot even begin to describe how special this engagement and wedding are to me!  These two are our very closest friends and this girl has been my "sister" since middle school.  The word friend doesn't really do them justice.  They are family to us.  We had the best time shooting this engagement session in DC and their wedding next Fall is going to be spectacular!  I love meeting new people and always love gaining new clients, but when family and friends call on you, it is a special honor.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and wait right along with me in anticipation of one awesome wedding day!!!

Beautiful, innocent, strong, courageous, unbreakable...  Just a few of the words you could use to describe the beautiful ladies in these photos.  Getting ready to welcome a new member of the family is stressful and exciting and something planned and planned by the expecting Mom and Dad.  So, what do you do when plans change, families change, suddenly there is no Dad standing by your side helping you plan every moment.  Personal stories like this can take your breath away and make you feel so for the woman bearing this miracle alone.  This is not a sad story though.  This is a story of strength, faith, and love.  Marika has found light in an impossible situation.  She fills her life and home with love for her stunningly sweet daughter and their little gentleman on the way.  She is ready to take her new team of 3 to be and face the future with God's grace and glory as her faith leads her through.  If you ever start to believe you can't, remember, you can...
