Abby's Cake Smash!
We had so much fun spending our Sunday baking a smash cake, dressing up our sweet girl and crossing our fingers for little mess and big smiles! It was a family affair with Daddy and Big Sister being my biggest helpers! Abby did not know what to think of Mommy's big photography lights and baskets, but she played along quite well! Sitting in a basket wearing a big dress was not the star activity of this photo shoot, though! When we put Abby down next to her very first, very pink birthday cake, there was no instruction needed! She went right for it, removing the decorations first and then proceeding to dive in like it's something she has done 100 times! She even made it past the frosting to get into the chocolate cake! She was so excited for her treat and then got a very cute bath on set to get all cleaned up! All in all, our living room survived as well as my equipment and props. Abby loved her first cake experience and gave us some adorable faces! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed creating them!
Katie & Sean are Engaged!
I have known this beautiful woman since she was a beautiful little girl. She has always been a smiling, sweet, loving constant in our family. Over the years we have watched this hopeless romantic wait so patiently (...ish ;-) for her forever love. When we saw her with Sean for the first time, we knew. She had found her someone. He matched her perfectly, filling in all the opposite counterparts of her personality. Seeing these two together is like viewing the definition of a simply, beautiful effortless love story. We cannot wait to capture their wedding next year, and we wish Katie, Sean and all their cats an eternity of happiness!

Baby Abby!
Well, our little girl is 11 months old! This means we have survived almost a whole year with our sweet little new addition! Our older daughter has been the best big sister and "little mama" that anyone could ever ask for. Seriously, I could not, would not do this without her! My amazing husband goes to work every day so that the three of us girls can navigate this strange world of quarantines and virtual school. My photography has been a blessing to be able to get outside and make people smile amongst all the craziness. The girls are resilient and continue to thrive and flourish through the most testing of circumstances. The baby lives in a world where when you go out, everyone has a mask on, we stay home all the time and she knows, no different. Our ten year old is something to be seen, taking it all in stride and excelling at distance learning! As we move forward into the holidays with our happy family, we pray for those who have not been as fortunate, for those who have lost loved ones and those who continue to need help. Our little Abby is about to celebrate turning one, and we could not be more proud!
Our Maternity Session | 10-27-19
We had so much fun trading places with our clients and getting in front of the camera ourselves this weekend for our Maternity Session! Only 5 weeks until Baby Girl #2 arrives and we are super excited! Our beautiful daughter is only 9, but all these stunning shots of us are by her, our little photographer in training! We couldn't be more proud of our sweet little family and we can't wait until our oldest visits this weekend for some more family photo fun!
