Meet Baby Jaxson... 2 1/2 Weeks New!
It is always such a joy when someone I know is having a baby! I love everything about pregnancy and newborns and babies and children...well, you get the idea! So, when one of my lovely coworkers contacted me about capturing her beautiful newborn son, I was over the moon! I had met him just once in person, but had the pleasure of watching her belly grow over the last 9 months in quiet anticipation of this handsome little guy's arrival! Sierra handled her pregnancy with grace, working right up almost to the end! When she began her maternity leave, baby Jaxon decided he just could not wait one more minute to meet his loving family and arrived weeks ahead of schedule. After many prayers and some time spent in the NICU with the wonderful caring doctors and nurses, Jaxon showed that he was strong and ready to face the world! This little man at less than 3 weeks old was a joy to work with and remarkably strong for entering the world the way he did! I am so excited to share this photo shoot with everyone! This family is so near and dear to my heart. Not only are they some of my most loyal and frequent clients, but two of them went all the way through school with me! Catching up with this wonderful bunch always brightens my day and watching these kiddos grow is nothing short of amazing! I just loved being asked back again and again over the years. It has been a while since I posted a new blog. Life has been crazy and wonderful, and trying and tough, but what really matters at the end of the day is the journey. My love for photography has never wavered, but the time I have had available to explore and keep up with said passion certainly has. However, dreams are the kind of things that must be nurtured, so as must be done with all things we put down, I picked it back up, got on my "proverbial horse" and got back out there! Stepping into a beautiful sinking sun with two of my favorite clients and a dear friend I have known since elementary school didn't hurt either! I love having the chance to catch up and play with these adorable brothers who I have had the honor and privilege of watching grow over the years! Meet Avery...2 Weeks New...
More Girls!!! I am so in love with all these little ladies arriving in our family over the past few years! First we had Kaya, then Harper, and now it is time for Baby Avery's introduction! This little lady was just that, a perfect lady! As long as she had a bottle nearby, she was happy to do just about anything. Not hardly a wimper out of this little one as we passed her around, stole her dress and stuffed her in a basket! Now, not only is she totally awesome, but she also made Kaya into a big sister! Now, at first glance Kaya put on quite a "I'm the baby" show in regards to this chic invading her space. However, when no one was looking, it was obvious Kaya was overcome with fascination and love for this tiny little person. I cannot wait to watch their bond as sisters grow over the years! For now, it is time to enjoy a look into week two of this family's life as parents of two!

Introducing...Baby Jaxon!
My friend's baby had a baby of her own!!! Now, I'm not sure how this happened, because there is no way that we are old enough to be grandma's! However, here we are in the next stage of life watching our babies grow up to have lives of their own. Luckily I still have one little...the big one I must admit is starting high school this year, which means we're officially old! Meanwhile, my lovely friend's daughter who is an amazing woman herself has brought one of the cutest little guys into the world! I had the distinct honor of being his first photographer! Though he refused to fall asleep and his sister really, really didn't want to take photos, we had lots of fun and got some adorable shots! I hope you enjoy this little preview of Baby Jaxon!
